“Though I may not be with you, I urge you to answer the highest calling of your heart and stand up for what you truly believe. In my life I have done all I can do to demonstrate that the way of peace, the way of love and nonviolence is the more excellent way. Now it is your turn to let freedom ring.”

Also, on June 7th Anna Devere Smith was Grace Cathedral’s guest preacher. Anna’s activism in exploring racism and inequality brought a special perspective to Grace Cathedral’s sermon as our nation and world are seeking to move forward with meaningful dialogue and changes in systemic racism. If you missed her sermon, you can find the link to it on Grace Cathedral’s website at gracecathedral.org. Click on “Services and Sermons” under “Spiritual Life.”
