Pray, Study, Work — a Benedictine Retreat
Saturday, July 17, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

Is it possible to integrate a life of prayer and work in community?
This was the idea that inspired
Saint Benedict over 1500 years
ago and which remains the vibrant heart of Benedictine practice. Benedictine spirituality seeks to create a daily rhythm integrating prayer, study, and work in a seamless flowing of life in which each moment is equally sacred.

The retreat day is structured to create a balance of community prayer, private reflection and study, a shared lunch, and work, with lots of laughter. Everyone is welcome. Lunch provided. Register by email to Brad Byrum at asalake@yahoo.com.
